...The Essex Volkswagen Owners Club...

Welcome Essex Volkswagen Folks

Hello and welcome to the home of the Essex based Spooky Vee Dub Volkswagen owners club.....

We are a motley crew of Air-cooled Volkswagen lovers that get together as often as possible, we have members from Maldon to Colchester & Althorne to Chelmsford

Whether you have a VW Beetle, Split Van, Volkswagen Bay Bus, Type 3, Karmann Ghia, Trike, Baja, Buggy or something a little different you're all welcome to come along and show us your car.

We try to make it to all the large Volkswagen shows, Big Bang, VW Action, Peppercorn & Van Fest but we enjoy the local shows too such as Battlesbridge and London Volksfest. We have a mixture of interests, from camping & chilling out to RWYB Flat Four Drag Racing with the SVC Racing Team

Club Meets

We meet up at around 8pm at the Mill Beach pub where the car park can accommodate us.

If your '54 Oval has that much sort after factory Sat Nav option, stick in this Maldon postcode to find us for club meets CM9 4RA Club Meet Map

5. gearbox Go to post

You can run a 100hp through a 1200 gearbox as long as you don't try to go from 0 to 100hp too quick.
You have to remember these gearboxes were only built to take domestic use not drag strip starts.
Saying that they will put up with quite allot.
